SHAKOPEE, MN – The Minnesota Thoroughbred Association honored trainer Francisco Bravo as the inaugural recipient of the MTA’s Trainer of the Month Award.

The award will be given monthly to the trainer who was a member of the MTA prior to running his first Minnesota bred at Canterbury and has earned the most number of Minnesota bred winners for the month.  He or she will receive the sign pictured above to display at their barn as well as two tickets to Canterbury’s Triple Crown Buffet.  Bravo notched 4 Minnesota bred winners for the month.

“We are very happy to be presenting this award for the first time to Francisco Bravo,” said MTA President Jay Dailey.  “He has had a lot of success with Minnesota bred horses over the years and we’re pleased that he has gotten off to the start he has here at Canterbury this season.”
