SHAKOPEE, MN – Canterbury Park has announced that Pepsi Family Day post time Sunday has been moved from 1 PM to 6 PM Central Time due to expected high heat during the day.

While the temperatures are expected to reach 92 degrees, the humidity is expected to drive the daytime heat index to close to 105. In the interest of protecting horses, jockeys and fans management decided to move post time into the evening. All races are expected to be run but the “Llamas and Unicorns” event has been postponed and will be rescheduled at a later date.
