SHAKOPEE, MN – Last weekend the Minnesota Quarter Horse Racing Association the Minnesota Thoroughbred association put on the annual Backside Barbeque for backside workers and their families.  A dozen volunteers or so from both organizations put together the appreciation cookout after the races on Saturday to recognize their hard work and dedication in working behind the scenes in order to put on the show that we enjoy in the afternoons and evenings.
