Canchari Fundraiser Set for Saturday

When the day is done!

SHAKOPEE, MN – Shakopee’s own, Patrick Canchari, was seriously injured in car crash in Phoenix on March 17and is facing a long, hard road to recovery.

The 29-year old Canhcari has been involved in the fight of his life ever since that morning on the way to work. He’s been able to battle out of critical condition and is now well enough that he has been transferred via air ambulance back home to Minnesota where he will continue his long, arduous rehab at Allina Health’s Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Center.

While progress has been impressive in the last five months, P-Can has a long way to go while expenses continue to mount. The air ambulance alone is a nearly $20,000 expense but it was the only way to get him home as he is completely unable to travel commercially.

A series of fundraisers have been set up to help Patrick defray some of these expenses. Please check them out and see if there is a way you can help.

And this Saturday at 446 Minnesota Street, South, in Shakopee will be a drive by Peruvian Pollada for Patrick. Donations are $20 a plate so plan to stop by, grab a plate and bring home or two a park (if the weather is nice enough) and enjoy.

It’s long road to recovery. Patrick has a wonderful support system in a tight, close knit family but expenses are mounting at a staggering rate – more than any family could hope to bear.

Thank everyone so much for ready and helping if you can.
